Phyllis King
Pediatric Sleep Consultant
With over a decade of experience working with babies and young children, I understand the challenges of sleepless nights. As an educator and a mom of four, I've seen the incredible impact of quality sleep on a child's learning, behavior, mood, and overall well-being.
My first two children struggled with sleep, so I know first-hand how challenging sleep deprivation is for your child, and for you, the parent. By the time my third and fourth arrived, I had two great toddler sleepers and was better equipped to navigate potential sleep struggles with the younger children. After much exhaustion, I had four great sleepers.
People would comment that I was "lucky" that my kids went to bed at a reasonable hour and slept so well. I would tell them that luck had nothing to do with it. I learned how to instill in them the confidence they needed to fall asleep and back to sleep independently.
I'm proud to be certified by the Center for Pediatric Sleep Management, with over a decade of experience working with babies and toddlers. Additionally, I hold an MA in School Guidance and Social Work. My background as a Kindergarten teacher and School Social Worker have shaped my career working with families and young children.
I'm here to help you navigate the ups and downs of sleep training and establish healthy sleep habits for your little one. Drawing on my knowledge of child development, my work with children and parents, and my personal experiences, I'll provide you with practical, evidence-based strategies tailored to your family's unique needs. Fueled by my passion for helping families get the sleep they deserve, I am confident that we can work together to create a peaceful and restful night for your entire family.
