M.Ed., Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Hey, Mama! I'm so glad you found me. Let me tell you how I got out of "survival mode" and started enjoying motherhood as a new mom. I'm a mom of 4, and my first two were terrible sleepers! It took me a long time to figure out how to use my education and professional experience to help my 2 under 2 sleep. And once I did that, I wasn't in "survival mode" anymore, and my house was calm. I actually enjoyed motherhood again. Then I had two more kids. And I had four great sleepers.
It wasn't luck! I used what I had learned as an educator, former school social worker, & daycare owner to find the cause of my kids' sleep challenges and fix the problems. I dove deep into sleep and integrated that knowledge with everything I know, personally and professionally, about how children learn.
With over two decades of experience, I deeply understand the connection between sleep & proper child development. And I know firsthand that sleep is essential to parents' mental health and that being well-rested allows you to show up for your child in the best way for both of you. And isn't that why we start a family- to enjoy them and love motherhood?
I get your struggle. I've been there, and I've got you! My approach involves meeting parents where they’re at to implement a plan that meets their needs. After supporting infants, toddlers, and their families for over two decades, I know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to teaching children independent sleep habits. I support families using a Client-led approach, in a way that makes them feel understood, comfortable & successful.
Working together means you'll use responsive methods to teach your child independent sleep, you'll gain the confidence you need to lead bedtime in your home with calm and connection, and you'll never have to figure it out alone. I'll be with you every step of the way to coach you, guide you, and support you.
