No. Sleep training is not synonymous with CIO. Sleep training is a broad term for the many methods designed to improve a baby's sleep habits and promote independent, healthy sleep. These methods can range from very gradual and parent-present approaches to more structured ones. My clients are given two options and encouraged to choose the one that feels safe & comfortable to them. I am with you every step of the way.
